Corporate Profile
In 1908 C.F. Iszard and J. Henry Warren organized the Iszard-Warren Company to design, manufacture and sell precision surveying, engineering, and scientific instruments. In 1913 our quickly expanding company became the Warren-Knight Instrument Co. The past century of Warren-Knight’s growth is a continuing reflection of our “in-the-field-knowledge,” gained from our customers and our dedication to engineering, product development and service.
For many years, the Company manufactured and operated at its center-city location at 136 North 12th Street. In 1963, due to the expansion of our manufacturing volume and our need to keep pace with customer requirements, the Plant and office were moved to their present location in Northeast Philadelphia. The modern one-story building permits adequate space and security needed to house the necessary automated equipment and tools required to provide the quality products demanded.
The 2045 Bennett Road location houses Warren-Knight Instrument’s parent corporation, Warren Industries, Inc., and also our retail service organization, North American Survey Supply Company. NASS’s goals provides a similar service to the industry; however, focus is on distribution of products manufactured around the world.
Warren Industries, Inc., and its divisions: Warren-Knight instrument and North American Survey Supply, provide the most accurate and reliable optical and electronic precision alignment systems.
As we proudly enter our centenarian year, we continue to manufacture unrivaled quality precision instruments for aerospace, engineering, meteorological, metrological, nautical and surveying application. We continue to expand our technical capability to assure you the customer that reliable, mission critical equipment is readily available anywhere in the world.
