|
| The 237 is ideal for general shop applications and assembly
areas. Its flexibility and mobility allow very low alignment and leveling operations as
well as a complete range up to a average surface plate heights. The stand closes seven
inches from the floor and travels to a height of 37 inches, as measured from the floor to
the bottom plate of the instrument. A 31-inch lateral shift occurs due to the
parallelogram design. |
237 Specifications
- Base: Cast iron for strength and stability. Three 2-inch
casters with rubber tires provide mobility. A foot pedal retracts the casters so that the
stand rests on three adjusting screws with lock nuts. This makes leveling the stand
possible on uneven surfaces.
- Superstructure: Made of cast aluminum for maximum rigidity
with minimum weight
- Instrument Mount: Standard 3 1/2 inch - 8 thread. Internally
threaded to accept the 800 precision lift.
- Controls: The instrument mount is raised and lowered by a
recirculating ball nut lead screw. The stand may be locked in any position.
- Finish: Machine grey and chrome
- Approximate Weight: Stand, 225 pounds; shipping, 300 pounds

| The 235-3 screws into any Brunson stand having an
intermediate tube or pedestal column and provides a standard 3 1/2 inch - 8 instrument
thread mount. Vertical shots are possible with transits having a hollow vertical spindle. |
|
|
|
The 235-5 has a 3 1/2 inch - 8 standard internal thread for stand-mounting
and a 5/8 inch - 11 external thread to affix theodolites to the stand. |
|
|
The 235-6 is configured to mount on any flat surface, centered on a precision
3.500-inch bore. A flange with six bolt holes allows a secure fastening to the surface.
The 235-6 has internal threads to accommodate a model 800 precision lift, or an instrument
can be mounted on its standard external 3 1/2 inch - 8 threads directly. The six
countersunk holes on the flange are 0.169-inch in diameter, 60° apart on a bolt circle of
3 15/16 inches diameter. |
|
|
This adapter seats into the dovetail mount on a model 800 precision lift and
has the standard 3 1/2 inch - 8 instrument thread mount. |
|
|
The 235-14 has a 3 1/2 inch - 8 standard internal thread for stand-mounting
and an 18.8 mm - 1.5 mm external thread to affix theodolites to the stand. |
